Does the 2015 Mirage have a locking steering wheel like other cars? I can take the key out, turn the wheel all the way from left to right and it doesn't lock.

Yes it does. The Dutch manual explains that you only can do this with driver door open and key removed. Driving a CVT Invite 2015

Due to park-brake interlocks and anti-theft systems most modern vehicles don't have steering locks. My '11 Focus doesn't, my Parents' 2013 Focuscape doesn't.

Granted, with mine, it might benefit from one. It's easy to push / tow it away - just open up, put it in neutral and away you go.

Has anyone tried ToXiQ's post? I'm curious if this works on the US Mirage, I'll try it myself in the morning if I remember.

My wheel turns lock to lock with the driver's door open and no key. It's a 2015 ES manual.

Which way did you turn the wheel? (surely that shouldn't matter) I tried it on mine (15 DE CVT) and it didn't work...

I'm pretty sure there is no steering lock. I remember checking into this before buying.

Yes it does lock! It is legally mandatory here.
Mine is a 1.0 MT with European specifications.
