As I live in the Falls and Napa Canada doesn't stock the block heater I plan on making a run to Napa in the US Falls to get my heater.

I don't mind picking up maybe 2 or 3 more for Canadians who want one but can't find it locally for a reasonable price. It's going to be about $35 US plus whatever exchange I get hit with on my CC plus shipping to where you live.

I can take EMT but not paypal.

You can get the block heater from the dealership. It comes with zip ties, a cover for the plug in and the grease. And I've never had one fall out, they have a clip that holds the actual heater to the block, not the cord. I think they were around $50-60 from the stealership. I posted the part number somewhere around here.

I got one a NAPA and installed in ~10 minutes. I tried it this morning and seemed to work well. It was -10F here this morning and the engine op temp light went out after less than 1 mile at 25 mph and no idling in the driveway.

Then Good Luck - though I doubt you'll need it.

That's pretty awesome. Mine takes about 4 miles to go out at least during those temps.

That temp light goes out at exactly 138deg F. According to my scan gauge btw.
And sometimes my car doesn't even reach full opp. Temp of 190 F on my 7mi commute. Especially if it's windy along with the extreme cold. I literally watch the scan gauge DROP sitting at a stop light when it's really windy and near or below zero

With these brutal cold single-degree (and below) temps, it's time for a 100% grill block to get your engine temps up faster...

Just a heads up for my Canadian friends. Napa no longer carries KH 11812, or KAT11812 in Canada. The cheapest one on Amazon.ca is, after shipping, the same price as the dealer heater ($106.83 all in from Mitsubishi).
    Just a heads up.
