US Price revealed: $12,995 (2014 Mirage 5-speed)

I just returned from a trip to the Mitsubishi dealer and here is what I was told. Our local dealer has 5 on the way. They shipped on 8/15 and are expected to be here in "mid-October". All five are the DE model.

I asked about pricing and the local guy, who told me he already did the Mirage training, said he has heard nothing about any kind of discount or manufacturer rebate, and the cars will sell at MSRP. :-( He said has had a lot of calls about the Mirage and is going to start taking $500 deposits for the car next week.

One other interesting note, local guy says that many people have been calling, interested in the Plasma Purple and Kiwi colors. I find this to be a bit of a surprise, but different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Mitsubishi is currently offering a $500 factory rebate on the new Mirages sold in the US, and an additional $250 for customer loyalty (for Mitsubishi, Saturn, or Suzuki owners).
