I sure wish I could've gotten this post a year and a half ago! It pained me greatly having to hack into wires on a brand new car.
Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of trying to splice wires, so I attempted factory cruise, and it works perfectly

I need help installing the factory cruise control in 2018 Attrage GCC spec.
It's same car as Mirage and Space star
I bought the switch Part# 8602A088
I checked the brake switch it's a 4 wire switch
But after disassembling the steering wheel, there is no wire harness for the switch and the clock spring is 5 pins only not 10
So I kept looking in the parts websites for another clock spring, but no luck
Can you please tell me what to do now ?
I need a harness for the switch + 10 pin clock spring
Can anyone try their vin number on spare parts catalogue and get the number of the clock spring + harness
I will provide any photos needed
Thanks

Hi,
Mine is a 2018 Mitsubishi Attrage GCC spec.
I think it has an Asian model ECM, because the connector and the wire colors is different than US model wiring diagram.
Check thread :
https://mirageforum.com/forum/showth...ocation-of-ECM
I bought 8602A088 ) which didn't work after hours of testing. ( I did the programming already )
My plan is :
1.Removing the purple & pink wires (it's for audio controls as per the wiring diagrams) from the clock spring connector and install 2 wires going to pins 63&64 in the ECM.
2.Changing the switch wires accordingly to match the change in the clock spring, or just connecting 2 wires from pin 3&4 in the switch to the pins in the clock spring.
But I need to make sure first that this ECM accepts the cruise control switch, so maybe I will order Daox switch to test it then I will try other OEM switches.
I will attach pictures of everything
