I will say for rolling hills highway driving the rostra unit revs really high sometimes. I can be jarring as hell. If I see a large uphill gradient I turn the Rostra off. It works ok for flat highways.

All our 15' and 17's that came with radio controls on the wheel had the wiring for cruise as well.

I can confirm that you can activate the Cruise and Fog Lights on 18 ES models. Mine is a 4/18 build and I was able to add factory cruise control using a mini-vci and the required software.

Took a 15 hour trip and both worked great!

Does this require a new steering wheel? Forgive the ignorance, but what is a mini-vci?

My 18 came with radio controls on the steering wheel, so I ordered a cruise switch from Ebay and put it where the blank spot was. It was a single philips head to swap it out and there is a little green plug that plugs into the new unit.

The mini-vci is a little harder to describe. I'll upload a video to youtube and link to it here.

Also, try searching "mini-vci". It's an adapter that allows additional functionality through the OBD-II port on our cars.

Here's a video I made trying to show the ETACS software side of things. I hope this helps everyone!
