I think i would start by jacking up the car and inspecting everything you did again. It's really easy to forget that one ground wire because your finally done. I would also inspect the wheel speed sensor wire going to the damaged side. It's super fragile.

You didn't have to do any software resets?

No damage in the front hub area, just the fender and door. Might revisit that area, if it doesn't snow tomorrow. (76 today, possible snow tomorrow. )Talked to the service mgr at the local Mitsu dealership, and he said it sounded like a brake switch also. Switch on order, should be here Friday. Hope it fixes it. He said if that doesn't do it, they'd be happy to check it out, for $112 per hour.

I did unplug the battery for awhile yesterday, so that might be considered a reset. Other than that, no.

Hopefully the brake switch will fix it.

That sounds like a wheel speed sensor to me too. Did you check this with a multimeter?

Throwing parts at a symptom without confirming it is the problem is a bad troubleshooting technique. It is a simple procedure to check the switch first with a meter before ordering the part. It might be discovered that the switch was simply knocked out of position.

Well, I downloaded my copy, and can't open anything. Decided to try your link, and none of the hyperlinks to info work for me either. I was going to try and read something about the ASC system, but all I saw was link to switch removal, and general info, but can't open them. Maybe a glitch with windows 10?

I swapped out the brake light switch, and of course that didn't help. Can't open my shop manual files, and can't open inuvik's either. I checked the wheel sensor wire on the driver front, and saw no damage. No skinned wire, nothing. Carefully flexed the wire, and still no dice.

EDIT Got Inuvik's info to work, and reading up on the system now.

Read through the ASC info. Everything refers to using Mitsu's scan tool to get the codes, and do any tests. Unless I can find a broken wire or something, I'm likely screwed. Probably gonna have to drop it off at the stealership for a check over.
