    Very Surprised

I took my lady, her daughter and another friend for a night out Friday. It was the first time that I had anyone besides myself in the car, and I was expecting it to be very pokey with a full load. I kid you not, there was no noticeable lack of acceleration that I could feel. I was impressed to say the least.

congratulations to your family, it means they are all in great shape.

When my Mirage is fully loaded for lunch car pooling, I have to shift later to get into speed, so I definitively feel the additional load.

We have the plasma purple Mirage. We get a lot of looks and smiles from other drivers when the see the car.

Got a "thumbs up" from a Mitsubishi MIEV owner the other day. Not sure if they were pleased at seeing another small Mitsubishi vehicle, or felt that we were helping to save the planet with a fuel efficient vehicle. Either way, having a car that puts a smile on faces of people that see it is a good thing.

Drove this past weekend from San Antonio to New Braunfels. First long-ish trip we take in the car (me, wife, two kids ages 17 and 10). Car drove nicely on the highway, 75-80 mph, 40 mpg, very stable, excellent ride.

This little machine keeps impressing me.

    Approximate your total load weight?

I had 3 adults and 1 midget in my car, totalling 700lbs (more or less). Freeway speeds were definitely achievable. Bottomed out on the dips - as expected. No rubbing on my 14x6.5 on 185-60-14.
