I sometimes hear a Powerjoke (especially the 6.0hNo's) turn for quite a little while before they decide to light off.

Yesh those injectors need oil pressure to operate iirc. They have one goofy gear driven high pressure oil pump conveniently under the intake that feeds the injectors and conventionalish pump to oil the engine. Or something like that. I like not having to remove the cab to fix my engine.
