It's like a reverse bra. How much does it increase mpg?

No idea! I haven't tested it, so for all I know it could be hurting MPG.

But I did something very similar to the Honda Fit I owned briefly last year, and immediately afterwards, I was able to get higher MPG (by a couple) than before I did the mods on a trip that I did regularly. (That still proves nothing - not at all scientific.)

Mark: no extra steps to OPENING the hatch, but I have swivel tabs the upper portion to secure the clear panels when I close the hatch. Re. the wheels: previously they had coroplast discs on them. I lost one so went the tape route.

I filled the tank a week or so ago. Forgot to update the fuel log until just now...

Went 824 km = 512 miles on 28.4 L = 7.5 gal (US).

68 MPG US = 3.5 L/100 km

Installed OEM cruise control, audio controls, and a head unit from a higher trim level on my 2017 ES CVT. Used MMCODINGWRITER to activate the cruise control.

Yeah, there were quite a few reasons, first of which was the body shop telling me they weren't going to charge me a storage fee and to "take my time" They didn't know who they were dealing with...
