What did you do to your Mirage today?

My brother in law backed into my 2021 Mirage, so I had to take pictures for the insurance compan. Hopefully it will be repaired soon.

Got tired of using wired Apple CarPlay (AC) every time I go for a quick drive by. I wanted to have AC wirelessly connected so I got me a AC wireless adapter, had it set up and voila! Works well!

It looks like the VIOFO A129 NICE choice. I put the same camera in my daughters 2015 ES. It was like 15 mins to install the front cam and about 15 mins for the back cam. She is home this week and I want to review what is getting recorded to see how good it looks. The last thing I need to do is to hard wire it. Thanks for sharing.

I had the same camera too, the add-on gps block on mine had a crappy connection at the plug or where the contacts touched the camera and kept causing it to reboot at random. Then it quit working altogether after being left in the truck all winter unused.

This morning I went for 35 mins semi-hypermiling MPG test run and I felt very pleased with the result.

Changed the oil and filter in a snow storm. Daughter is 3 hours away and was going back to collage. 2015 ES around 89 K had over 5 K miles on Mobil one oil and looked dark. Fun stuff

On the March 18th I added tape around the air intake resonator to reduce rattling. I know it a quick fix and may not last BUT is did help.

FINALLY found a halfway decent deal on a new head unit. I got the GPS, Mic, adapters and USB + tray for about $230. Came out of a 2018 Mirage without FAST key so I had to cut a notch in the storage tray. I rarely spend money on my myself for anything so my wife made me get it . Guy forgot to send the bezel so still waiting on that.

Next step is a subwoofer.
