Replaced the stock lug nuts with nickel plated steel from McGard. They are a little bit longer but on a bright day I hope it'll look like circle of reflecting light . Now, I'm looking into replacing the center caps

They do look good. But you probably crushed your fuel mileage by about 0.05 mpg. Since I painted my wheels black, I was thinking about getting some black lug nuts shaped like spikes ... like truckers sometimes have. Since my little blue can is such a badass.

That's why I don't bother repainting my rims black, because the lug nuts look like crap anyways. I don't want to feel pressured to buy fancy lug nuts to make them look really nice.

It's a combination of being cheap & lazy on my part.

Discovered my Mirage won't start. No power door locks, no crank, no nothin.. Guess the battery died while it sat for a few months. Fingers crossed I didn't cause any permanent damage. I bought the cheapest jump starter on Amazon and that will hopefully start the car.

My friend's Mercury Sable was dead. Nothing worked. She said it wouldn't jump start. I put in a new battery for her the other day, & everything was fine. It started right up.

    Was it the original battery?

Why would you think a dead battery would cause permanent damage????????? Other than to the battery itself...
These cars can sit for more than a few months and start up just fine if the battery is up to snuff. How much aftermarket electricals have you added on? Stereo, dash cam...?

Interesting point. I thought mohammad meant permanent damage to the battery. I didn’t even think of the vehicle electronics.
