Today I put my used SE rims on my 2014 ES... they look sharp. Just needed a bit of cleaning. Definitely think my Mirage looks better with rims, compared with the plastic wheel covers I had for so many years.

Super clean too.
Edit: you'll have to tell us if you notice any difference between your steelies and the alloys.

Looks good. Hope you got a good deal on 'em. I'm seeing them advertised for super cheap pretty regularly - like $100-200 a set ... often with Enasaves that may still have good tread!

Thanks.. I paid $100 for the 4 alloys with the 4 tires included. Dunlop endasaves again. All 4 in good shape. The alloys have a few scratches.
So far fuel economy is the same with the alloys. I think the ride is a little firmer now.

I replaced the rear headrests with a set from a Australian Mirage. It's really ridiculous how large they are compared to other countries.
Minus the better rear sight, I don't need to remove them to put the seats down. I'm happy.

Being a Building Materials salesman in another life, I know how well denim insulation insulates plus decreases sound better than fiberglass insulation. I get boxed meals and they use Denim to insulate the boxes. Since I already the panels off I decided to insulate the panels right away. Doesn't look too pretty, but initial impressions are encouraging.
Then I installed some new speakers.

Well, I... uh... DROVE my Mirage today!
Haven't been getting out much during the pandemic. Started working again about 3 weeks ago, and have been doing a LOT of driving lessons lately, but that's all in the Kia. I try to get out in each of the other cars at least once each week... but, I haven't driven any of them in about 3 weeks!
So, today... I took the Mirage out for a spin. It's SO much more entertaining to drive than the Kia! I spent half the drive just "exercising" it and having fun. The second half, I reset the MPG and hypermiled. Got home with 48.2 mpg. Not too bad. Traffic kept messing with me today.
Oh, and I put a new set of wiper blades on it today because the last time I drove it, one of them was starting to "flap".
Simplify and add lightness.
