Yeah, the locks worked, but the handles didn't (inside or out). Of course, I may have just tried the outside handle while the door was locked, but I'm pretty sure I tried unlocking all the doors with the switch inside and the fob, to no avail.

Yesterday I removed the rattling snorkel from the filter housing. I like the sound so I think I’ll join the club and make my own intake too.

Just did the 52500 mile oil change (first change since purchase used), got metal bits in the catch pan. :/ Used a mobil1 filter and Castrol Edge 5w-40.

I started spring cleaning the Mirage today -- first spring cleaning in 6 years, I think!
Spent a couple of hours shampooing carpets & seats. I pulled the passenger seat out because someone spilled coffee or something in a spot that was impossible to get at otherwise.
Note: with the seat removed, I made sure to NOT TURN THE IGNITION ON, or it would have set a fault in the airbag system. Resettable only at the dealer?

I went to Mitsubishi dealership to get a recall, Oil changed, brought Hankook tires I got from BJ'S with me for them to install, wheel balance and alignment. My left rear tire sensor was bad so replaced that, and they said my front rotors was thin and needed to be replaced. I said I will do that on another day. I plan on going to a salvage yard 45mins from me to pick up Alloy rims from a mirage $75 a piece later next week.
