I’ve never used Carfidant, however, Griots 3-in-1 ceramic wax is what I’ve stuck to since new, a pressure wash rinse after 1k miles gets rid of most everything with minimal touch required

    This looks badass.

I absolutely love how we all have different tastes in how we modify our stuff. Super cool paint scheme.

    Hello all,
. . . . I have looked at both of these products and I don't know. I want to get all of the bugs off of my Mirage and then coat it with something that will be easier to clean and take care of. Regular waxes don't cut it. I have used silicon based waxes in the past and they work pretty well but I have never tried a ceramic based product. Any suggestions?

I think 5 north around LA area and 91 west going to Carson are much worse...I take 405 on weekly basis to see some patient and the mirage can take it... This car has been to San Diego and Inland Empire without a problem...

I've never been there with the mirage...I saw a post here before that someone drove his mirage from LA to San Francisco so you might wanna search and ask that guy how his mirage handled it..

    Flip,
. . . . Maybe he will see this and reply. I drove that route many times in my RX-3. Long hard pull in the desert. Lots of fun.

My Griots is like a speed wax as far as application. Spray on a light mist. Wipe in. Buff off. Apply a second coat in 12 hours. Keep dry between first and second coat. Water still sheets off after two months. Bugs come off without scrubbing

    MCM,
. . . . That sounds like what I am looking for. Can you wait longer than 12 hours?

You can. Best way is to wash in the evening, coat it, put it in a garage or whatever you have, and then reapply in the morning.

    It takes about 10 minutes.

I also finally got around to zip tying this bumper back together. Lol.
