I've been wanting this addition for several months now. I took my car to its dealership for routine inspection and picked up the mud guards. The installation is simpler with some special tools: trim remover, 8mm and 9mm drill bits, scissors to cut out the stencils, and a razor sharp edge to trim the side skirts, also a small pick - to reach the adhesive tape cover preinstalled on the mudguards after they've been bolted or riveted onto the car

Installed dash cam on windshield. Was able to run the wire nicely and tucked it inside the panels without removing any.

Replaced aftermarket hubcaps for OEM's just to see how much more MPG from a 300 miles round trip I would get and it actually did! Color me shocked.

Received the last bit of WeatherTech. First was the front floor mats, and the window deflectors, then the trunk mat, and now I've got the rear mat. I'll try to capture some pics this weekend, I never did show you all the Mitsubishi Roof Rack...

I replaced my blower motor. The original one still worked at 207,000 miles, but it was noisy. Used OEM blower motors are pretty cheap, new OEM ones are pretty expensive. I was going to go with a used one, but decided to give an aftermarket one a try. They are inexpensive as well.

Fit is perfect. There are probably installation guides here somewhere, but it only takes about 2-3 minutes to change. The aftermarket motor works fine and is quieter than my old one, but it is a bit noisier than a new or lightly-used OEM blower motor would be. My advice is to just get a low-mile used one if yours starts to fail.

I find the same. I replace heater motors in our Nissans fairly often and the aftermarket ones just aren't the same. They're typically noisy and the fan cage itself isn't the same same size(typically an inch shorter). I haven't tried an aftermarket fan in a Mirage yet but expect the same.

Finally did a cvt fluid and filter change in the 2015 mirage. Sitting at 180k miles and only drained and replaced fluid once at 30k miles so needless to say long past due. Fluid was very dark. Magnets had about 3/16 inch of fine metallic dust fully coating them. I used 4 quarts of diaqueen cvt j4 fluid. Just measured what came out and replaced it.

180k miles and only 1 CVT fluid change in all that time. Congratulations, your miles has surpassed 98% of all CVT Nissans ever.

Almost exclusively highway miles and gentle stops and takeoffs have a lot to do with it.

My dealer installed my new winter tire set (OEM alu all-black trims) and the scuff plates (OEM, which I believe differ a bit from the US versions) this morning.

I'm extremely jealous! Best looking infrared Mirage on here.
