I managed to get the ETACS decoder going today. It's way more unreliable than I'd like, but I eventually managed to write some changes I wanted to do. Enabled cruise control, enabled fog lamps, changed fog lamps to type A (on with parking, regular or high beam), and, most importantly: I enabled A/C and set the compressor type to "type 1".

I have no idea what the compressor type should be, but it seems it should be set to something... I don't have any A/C parts installed so no worries about damage and it doesn't seem to be causing any issues leaving this enabled.

I also got a pretty good parts list from a Mitsubishi dealer and prices for a bunch of parts. I will post them later (maybe tomorrow?). The prices are definitely not cheap. I am really hoping to find someone with a totaled car that wants to sell the A/C lines and the compressor bracket. The rest I can buy from junkyards, but none of them are interested in saving lines (which are hundreds of dollars each).

Option two would be to find a place that makes custom lines and see what the price is. I think it will be less than Mitsu's prices. In fact, I could probably get away with just adapters to go to standard size refrigerant hose.

    Parts list:

Part Number / Part Name / MSRP
    7813A531 / COMPRESSOR ASSY A/C / $1224.82
    7815A892 / PIPE, A/C CONDENSER OUTLET / $279.31
    7812A229 / CONDENSER ASSY A/C REFRIGERANT / $433.10
    7813A524 / COMPRESSOR & CLUTCH ASSY A/C / $958.97
    7815A889 / HOSE A/C COMPRESSOR SUCTION / $180.33
    7815A894 / HOSE A/C COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE / $170.53
    7801A843 / EVAPORATOR A/C / $485.48
    7801A959 / RESISTOR HEATER / $47.65

The evaporator, compressor, and condenser are easy to get from junkyards. I managed to buy the crazy expensive pipe ( 7815A892 ) at an ok price already. So now I'm in need of the two hoses and the bracket to make this project a reality. Also will need to buy the "RESISTOR HEATER" which actually looks like a temperature sensor--which, fortunately, isn't as bad of a ripoff for real Mitsu parts. Also would be REALLY helpful if someone with A/C could post their ETACS decoder settings. Especially the compressor type.

Found a part number for the compressor bracket by itself: 7813A387. Seems to sell for $90 on eBay.

Looks like if you buy the one line #3 it comes with the pressure switch.
