Thailand: Attrage/G4 sedan review - Mirage of a different hue (bangkokpost.com)

The writer definitely damns the car with faint praise in this detailed review, starting with this opening:

The Mitsubishi Attrage has an effective saloon package that vies with rival offerings, but it's just as shoddy to drive as the Mirage hatchback
    Pros

    - decent rear interior/rear seat space for its small footprint
    - plenty of interior stowage
    - great real world fuel economy vs. rivals
    - good value

    Cons

    - lackluster interior styling
    - uninspired driving dynamics at speed (city is fine)
    - poor damping
    - road noise

    Overall
"...Attrage is to be commended for a package, which strikes a good balance between useable interior space and compact dimensions. Its engine and chassis don't like to be pushed, however, meaning that it's the value factor rather than "driveability", which will attract buyers."

  2. #2
Given the majority of reviewers seem to be criticising the Mirage's handling, it seems like the company ought to re-think the suspension calibration. It must be the #1 complaint. Even if real world owners don't care as much as the journalists, it makes for bad press.
