Manual or CVT? What other cars were in contention?

I'm partial to the pop green too - good choice. I've yet to see one in person though - they go on sale here next week.

A manual, we took a manual sport for a run and agreed on the pop green with plus pack as down under they are a limited edition 1/400.

I will teach my son to drive it then give it to him as a safe first car.

welcome, since you'll be teaching all the ins and outs of the car to a new driver. You'de be in a great position to make comments on all the quirks/attributes of the car. Some of us still have not had the chance to even see let alone take a short test drive in one.

Hi All

We had a nissan micra 1995 along time ago and was a great city car, it even did some long trips, my wife and I took the mirage for a run and commented on how much it reminded us of it. These days you get a lot more value for your money.

We did look at a lot of others
Suzuki alto, too small need 5 seats
VW pop same as above
New micra 4 stars
Festiva, wife can't stand ford
Barina, as above

Nothing else looked at due to resale and service centres where we live

The plus pack is basically a body kit out of the Mitsubishi catalogue with Crome highlights around the fog lamps lower grill and rear hatch. We went for it as they are limited numbers here.

By tips I should say issues that I might have to keep the dealer on top of.
