I'm happy with mine, and on balance think I made the right decision (though frequently second-guess myself). If you are willing to accept what it is (inexpensive, simple, reliable) it is a fantastic car. If you want more (refinement, luxury, sharp performance/handling), you will be disappointed. My fuel efficiency is stellar. Handling in the city/turning radius is great. Stereo is marginal.
I have had no mechanical issues in 2.5 years/25k km, and am not aware of any known major issues.
There are a couple minor things I'm aware of:
- "weak" paint chips easily
- rear wheel alignment is usually out a bit, sometimes out a lot
