    High Performance 185/60R14 Tire Options?

I was simply going to go with a 195/50/15 tire on lightweight 15" wheels. However, I am considering going with a 14" wheel/tire, too. That being said, I'm not finding much in the way of higher-performance 185/60/14 tire options outside of the Dunlop Star Specs.

Anyone running a 185/60R14 on their Mirage, and if so, what tire is it?

Have you considered 185-55-15 tires on 15" wheels? There are some decent choices in this tire size and the speedometer difference is negligible.

Not really. I think I'd simply go 195/50/15 if I opt for a 15" wheel/tire. Plus, they're generally cheaper than a 185/55 and closer to the factory gearing from a performance aspect.

Anyone running 185/55R14? A bit smaller than the OE diameter (by 0.4") or 1.8%.

I'm running Bridgestone Potenza P165/65R14's on my '14 Mirage, and so far, so good. Only 10,000 kms on them, I went from the original 14" Dunlops the car came with. They fit right on the factory rims.

RE92's are by no means a performance tire. They were the OE tire on Subarus 15-20 years ago, and were terrible in all conditions.

They are advertised as Performance Tire, kinda explains why their wear rating is lower than the Dunlops. I'm not sure your 90s Subaru RE92s are today's RE92's, but that's just my hope maybe. Retro tire? I'm not sure if you have the 5-speed but you get better traction on the R92s, I think, in a sense, it's hard to compare apples to oranges because its all diffferent where you're driving or if you're like grandma on the forklift real easy or giving it
