Thread: Mirage EV conversion: getting everything working without the engine

    Sounds like more work than it's worth. You're not going to make it rwd by bolting parts on. I'd just find a solid rear diff from an old datsun 210 or something like that and put leaf springs under it. Find a rwd tranny from a similar small car/truck. But that would make the car drive and handle like crap. Might as well just send me the money you'd spend in parts, labor and research. That way at least one of us would be further ahead than when we started.
