    Does anyone know what the thermostat or thermostat gasket/o-ring part numbers are?

    Thermostat comes with one rubber gasket around its perimeter.
    Part: "Thermostat kit" number 1305A280

    No need to touch it if just flushing the cooling system.
    There are plenty of aftermarket thermostats. See Smart car.

    So you just finished a coolant change and the same car got hit in an accident?? Isn't it always the way? From what you described, radiator and coolant got out unscathed?

    These are two different cars, the one in the youtube video is mine. The one in the accident a different family member drives.
