No. That's the cam and crank drive sprockets. 18 @ 36 because the crank turns 2x the cam speed.

The trigger wheels will look similar. I don't *know* they are hall effect, but that's how the fsm illustrates them. The link i linked earlier has the information necessary to determine definitively if they are hall effect or something else.

Somewhere there's a picture of the 3a92 with the oil pan off and crank exposed, and you can see the starwheel location. I even asked what it was just to be sure in the thread. I'm 90% sure fummins posted it.

Edit; diyautotune (aka megasquirt) is capable of running your lawnmower or a dodge viper. It'll for surely run the mirage. It's universal. They just do not have a plug n play version for the mirage.

Well guess im going to have to locate the trigger/shutter wheels then

Hall = shutter wheel with windows/VR = toothed wheel with 2 wires/Optical = LED with a sensor opposing a flat disk. Need to find out definitively

I looked for Fummins post, no luck so far. Ill keep looking

Unfortunately I gave them some likely incorrect information. Ill try to button down my next response. They were quick to respond before and theres appears to be a path, theres hope there. Good call on that.

    Yep that's it

I never noticed the bosses on the main caps. There must be a block girdle? She's already ready for big power

Rkt Ship replaced his engine, maybe he still has the old one laying around?

    yum .

I showed haltech this pic thinking the larger diameter wheel inside the crank case was the crank trigger wheel. His response, "Yes, the larger wheel is the crank pickup. Knowing what tooth pattern that is along with the cam tooth pickup pattern is the first step. A custom parallel installation of a Haltech with the factory ecu like you are attempting is very challenging even for experienced installers and tuners. We do not recommend doing so unless you have an advanced understanding of the factory engine controls as well aftermarket engine control systems". so thats 1 trigger wheel. still need to count the teeth and get the pattern for this trigger. still need to get the cam trigger wheel
