Not to hijack the thread too much... but is it possible to get the part number off your MAP sensor moonchook87 so I can compare it too the my US market sensor.

Pcmflash will read the map region only. Not the immo/keyfob region.

Due to activity in the forums recently regarding tuning and getting more power, it got me interested as well. So far the plug and play OBD stuff seems to be nothing more than sophisticated throttle Controllers from what I read online about them. I Guess that reflects in the pricing.

So I did some more searching and found a chip tuning company called Sedox Performace. In their list of vehicles was 2 EU mirages one with 1.0 & the other with the 1.2L. Usually they can either send you the map or they need to open up the Ecu.

    - 1.0L link https://www.sedox-performance.com/tu...ivec-71hp-88nm

    - 1.2 L link https://www.sedox-performance.com/tu...tec-80hp-106nm

I emailed them and this is their response:

“We have a remap for this engine / model if it is MIVEC 1.0:
    https://www.sedox-performance.com/tu...ivec-71hp-88nm
Unfortunately, due to ECU protection, there are no end-user flashers that we can send to you that will work.
And depending on ECU SW and HW version this is probably a bench job (ECU opening).
Even if OBD communication is possible it is only for ID so it is risky to find correct original software for the Asian market.”

“It is the same with 1.2 as with 1.0.
And Bench flashing is maybe possible to avoid. There are some tools that can do at least ID over OBD but those are expensive for the end user.
Russian software PCM flash + Tactrix Openport interface can do Renesas processor on Mitsubishi over CAN bus but there is no guarantee it will work on your model.
Price is around 450€ + 200€ for remap.”

They are using just what bro satria is using.
Bro Satria is the man when it comes to this.
Bro satria hope you can explain in more detail what you have done.

Pcmflash will work for mirage. It will read the ecu engine map and save it to a bin file. You then can edit it using winols or send it to a tuner. After that, write it back to the ecu. Checksum will automatically calculated. Just remember to use battery charger everytime you write the ecu.

Thanks for the quick reply. Am I right in saying that Winols is a tuning software for you to make adjustments? For yourself did you tune it yourself or have a tuner to make sense of the values?

The battery charger is to power the ecu or to connect to the car battery while writing to the ecu?

    Thanks!

Winols is for editing. I do make my own tune for my mirage.
Battery charger is to maintaining the volt. Because when writing, minimal voltage is 12.5v. Just to be safe.

So, how much will it cost to have the PCMFlash to work?

Plus the cost of the ECU map?

Just buy pcmflash+mitsubishi canbus module+openport 2.0. For tune, depends on the workshop you dealing with. I usually charge $200 for file tune.
