- no cruise control option
- no steering wheel reach adjustment
- interior materials/finish
- manual transmission - lack of refinement
- vague on-center steering feel

Overall...

The VW Up is a better driver's car, but the Mirage has a number of good things going for it that make it a "compelling" entry in the budget segment.
