The Mirage was easily more comfortable with less fatigue. The next closest rental to the Mirage for comfort, thrift and features was the Versa Note. The Fiat, Accent, Excel,

Perhaps the rentals houses have gone Spark crazy. In 2014 ('15?) I had a Mirage more than once renting from Enterprise. Even though I specified a Mirage in future bookings (2016-) I never had another one from them. I suspect GM cut the rental houses a great deal or perhaps the Nissan financial scandal kept the rental houses away.

From what I read all Sparks except for Canadian get AC standard. We really do get shafted on many goods simply because we're Canadian.

What is the ratio of Mitsubishi dealerships to Chevy dealerships in Canada?

According to Wikipedia, Mitsubishi has a network of approximately 440 dealers in Canada (90) and the United States (350). If Canada has 90 Mitsubishi dealerships, how does that compare to Chevy dealerships?

    Sparks seem heavily discounted here.

Chev has many more dealerships in Canada than Mits, but, when I was small car shopping not a single Gm/Chev/Buick dealer had a Spark in stock. They all said they could have one there in a day or two if I made a purchase and I asked them how many they sold that way, sight unseen? They ducked that question.

U.S. sales continue to impress. Mirage is going to surpass 25k sales this year for the first time.

I can't help but think that Mitsubishi doesn't have the track record of frequent redesigns on successful vehicles. I kinda doubt there'll be much of a change in the near future, especially as this generation Mirage is still gaining steam.

Who knows but Mitsubishi Motors corporate? I look forward to hearing from them, rather than peanut gallery speculation.

But peanut gallery speculation is FUN! As a matter of fact, I have a new theory. Going to post it in the other thread now...

US November sales: another good month!

November 2019 sales of the Mitsubishi Mirage, the most fuel-efficient non-hybrid vehicle sold in America2, were up 24.9% year-over-year as it continues to defy the industry trend away from cars to CUVs.
    Source: https://media.mitsubishicars.com/rel...ber-2019-sales

1901 Mirages sold vs. 1522 a year ago.

    2019 year-to-date sales: 25213. That's already higher than all of 2018 (24316).

So the car has already locked in yet another consecutive year of increasing sales. Pretty unheard of, as far as car sales trends typically go. Extremely unheard of for this segment.

Meanwhile in the Great White North

    111 Mirages sold.

That's 2019's worst month (so far!), the latest in a string of underwhelming numbers.

C'MON CANADA!! How the heck am I supposed to find me a 2019 Mirage for $2500 in 5 years if y'aren't buying enough of them??

    ---

But the company did well over all up here. Best November ever:

With 2,052 vehicles sold in November, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada has hit a record November with a total sales increase of 20 per cent year-over-year. Driving the gain was the significant increase in sales of Mitsubishi Canada’s top nameplate RVR with 856 deliveries during the month, a 79 per cent increase over last year. Model Year 2021 RVR arrived in showrooms in October

RVR = Canada's name for the Outlander Sport.

2021?? Why the heck are they messing around with model years so egregiously? Again.

there's still SFA about the 2020 Mirage at the Mitsu site. Only 2019 information. Somebody here said the 2020 Mirage info for Canada would appear after the big car show in SEA. That show has come and gone already, yes?

So where's the 2020 canadian Mirage info, pics and specs?

    Maybe it'll be a repeat of 2016?
I believe our next batch of newness won't be cars but more little nissan vans that are sloppily assembled by mexicans.
