I would expect 55 - 60 mpg at 45 mph. I think the best cruising speed for fuel economy is 50 mph / 80 khr.

I am not concerned in the least about the mileage on the car. It does have things that need attention though, and it might have one thing that will be a pain to fix. But, overall I want to start modding it haha.

First up on the fix list is this. I'm not sure why the dealer didn't fix it, but I will. It just needs to be popped back into place. None of the tabs are busted or anything.

Other than that, there is a bit of an odd issue I noticed on the way home. There was warm air blowing out of the driver's side vent, and the driver's side middle vent. But, the passenger side middle vent and the passenger side vent were blowing cool to cold air. I'm guessing there is a busted flapper door, or bad actuator or something in the vent assembly that is causing this. I'll have to dig into the service manual and see what I can find out. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears!

For starters, check your air filter and check air ducts for leaves or other blockages.

    Just a guess.

Thats a great idea. I actually was going to check the cabin air filter before purchasing, but I didn't end up doing it. It would be great if there was some junk to vacuum out and it was fixed.

It was blowing warm air during the test drive!

I thought so too! Glad I'm not totally nuts. But, it certainly wasn't blowing warm on the way home, and on my trip on Saturday it was also cold much to my wife's dismay haha.

That's right - a blockage would block air flow, and you are getting air out of that vent...

That's weird. I wonder what happened there?

Have you checked the vehicle for contraband?

Is there any value in measuring outlet temperature and velocity, or is a check with your calibrated hand enough?

Clearly you have dual zone climate control. You just have to figure out the user interface.
