I tied it into the lower heater core hose. The block heater outputs to the block, and sucks in coolant from the heater core.
I'm sure a similar setup could be used to heat up the CVT oil. Thats not a bad idea at all.
Yeah the CVT heat exchanger is a unique feature (among many) of these little cars that open up opportunities for new tricks.
I've been riding around for about two weeks now on my custom made rear anti-sway bar. I can honestly say this thing is amazing. By and far the best mod yet. It completely changes the way the car handles. Its immensely more planted and confident in corners where as it used to rooooll around the corners. It really makes the car a lot more enjoyable to drive.
Here are a few pictures:
Mounting it and tacking the cross bar in place.
Removed and cleaned up, ready for paint.
Mounted up and ready for enjoyment!
that's pretty cool man. I have one on my truck and I would never want to go without it.

I really have no plans for another version at this point. It would be interesting to make one that is a bit stiffer just to see how it feels. But, as of right now I have no plans to make one.
it seems it would hit a ramp/bump unless the springs or shocks have been replaced.
