They may be expensive to buy new parts yes. Until the warranty is up, all those costs should be eaten by insurance and warranty. After that, the market for used parts is growing quickly, and how little these will break down, the cost isn't that much higher than any other.

    UPDATE:

Picked up the car yesterday. They did a good job replacing parts but...

    1. Radiator is some Chinese crap and says its for 14-15 Mirages. Are they the same? Should I be concern in function and car warranty?

    2. Car seemed fine at first but noticed I get very poor mpg at anything over 60. Feels like the car has 3 250lbs guys in the back. Could it be they put wrong oil since they questioned me what should they use? They thought it was 5w20 and if they put too much? I checked and it does seem more!

    Total 3710$

1: Radiator should be the same as a 14-15

2: US specs are 0w-20 but the manual states that 5w-20 is acceptable. Other countries use 5w-30 or 0w-40. Overfilling is a real risk with a capacity of only 3 quarts members have reported from time to time that even Mitsubishi dealers have overfilled. This can cause engine damage due to foaming. Check your oil levels ASAP.

So are you saying they didn't use an OEM radiator? Was this fixed at a Mitsubishi dealer or? I can see them denying if they used an aftermarket radiator. How's your alignment?

You will start seeing them in wrecking yards after a few years. Used parts won't be so spendy.

Nope, some Chinese brand that cost 175$. There was no damage there, Ill have them check it. It might be foaming since I did see some bubbles when took out the dip stick and it shows they got 5 quarts of it of full synthetic from o'reilly

So they removed some of the oil. I am assuming they put in around 4.5 qts. The MPG is back and the bit of whistle noise too. I guess I was right about the oil overfill. I am happy with the outcome but need to get the left side of the bumper cover where it reaches the fender right under the light adjusted. So far happy with the auto body work, a bit less with the mechanical part of it.

another discovery. After the oil adjustment I noticed there is another service menu not just for oil life, but something else and it says 2. What could it be?
