I love an easy solution. I was thinking electrical tape.

Damn guys. And here I am with a length of flexible metal dryer vent ducttaped to my existing pickup tube run to and around my exhaust manifold three times. Which works, by the way. Works quite well.

Sorry...I got side-tracked on the TPMS stuff.

I will take some final photos over the weekend. I have to remove it because I'm taking my car in next week for the no heat on passenger side problem that you discovered. I could probably live with it, but if I can get my heater core replaced under warranty, I'm going to try for it. The list price on a Mitsubishi heater core is over $600! With labor that job is probably $1200+. I am literally about 500 miles from going out of my bumper-to-bumper warranty.

Yeah, I'd highly recommend having someone else do the job!

    Looking forward to pics.

I'm not sure why this thread came back but I did develop a Warm Air Intake (version 2.0) that I've been using in the winter for the last couple of years. It's similar to my original design but is much more effective (higher, more consistent intake air temps), easier to build, and requires no tools to install.

Look for a new "how-to" thread on this in the Fall. Here's a sneak peek...

HERE is the link to the Warm Air Intake (version 2.0).
