    Skoda, more 3 cyl. cars

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%A0koda_Fabia

    Gas, NA, 59-68hp. 5.2-5.5l /100kms

They may not have 3 cyl. anymore, IDK but depending on price these cars may have been/are the most direct competitor to our Mirages.

Can't say I like Skoda, I had one in '83, I4, 1.2L, RE/RWD, clutch failed @30,000km like clockwork. Otherwise I liked the car. It was basic transportation like the Mirage.

Zero, my 2014 ES Plus gone but not forgotten. We're driving the Beetle of the 21st century

I like the styling of the third generation. For some reason, to me it looks bigger than the Mirage.

They are a bit bigger. The 1 L gas with 74hp is interesting. Belt drive though on the cam with, depending on what you believe, lifetime service. Brakes were 175 for front pads, something wonky there. That must include labor.

Climate control screen is quite similar.

I completely forgot that we could get Skodas here briefly!
