Thread: How much did you pay for your Mirage?

  1. #681
I have bought a new 2019 Mirage G4 ES with manual transmission. My delivery date was February 19 and the picture is taken two days later. Mirage G4 is discontinued in Canada for 2020, so all remaining 2019 models come with cash purchase rebate from Mitsubishi. My total cost for the car (with Freight & PDI and 13% Ontario tax) ended up being $15,800 CAD ($11,790.65 USD) after the discount. There were not too many of these 2019 G4’s with 5 speed transmissions left in Ontario and Toronto dealer was quite happy to see me buy this car. He even included All Weather Floor Mats for free. Cash discount on the car was $3,500 CAD.

I was originally planning to buy manual 2021 Mirage hatchback (with updated styling) in the fall of this year, but since this car came up with big discount (and more options), I decided to jump on it at this time.

Nice score! The G4 is more expensive than the hatch as well so that's even better. Enjoy it!

I just picked up a 2014 ES with 78k for $2600. I wanted to learn a stick and I was about to buy a dirt cheap Aveo to just beat up on and I came across this silver mirage on Facebook. He was asking $4k and I went and looked at it (had some dings and scratches on it but Carfax and the local mitsu dealer confirmed it was well maintained) I offered $2600 and now she’s mine. Couldn’t be happier with the car. I’m glad I found these forums.

PS: You dodged a bullet there! Tim and I run the Aveo Forum as well as this one, and it's almost nothing but owners dealing with problems!

I can’t believe these cars aren’t more popular tbh. Idk why so many bad reviews from the “experts” out there. I don’t think I’ve looked into a more highly reviewed car (consumer reviews) than this one. I plan to keep it a long time.

You run a forum for Aveos? Oh dear god. DAEWOO DELUXE! If I remember right it's just a Daewoo Nubria but I can't recall exactly.

If 2021 brings us the updated Mirage, it will be interesting to see what type of deals will appear for the remaining 2020 Mirages?

White Bear Mitsubishi is presently advertising brand new 2020 ES manuals (MSRP of $15,265) for $10,999.

    https://www.whitebearmitsubishi.com/...c&Model=Mirage

Military offer: active/retired military would receive another $500 off
Loyalty offer: Mitsubishi owners would receive an extra $500 off
VIP offer: could received another $500 if you worked for the right company

Financing offer is a bit unclear to me. If you are buying a car, I would ask them about it.

I prefer a manual transmission, & White Bear seems to stock them.

    Here's a new 2020 mt for $14000Cad...$10200usd. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/...4770?undefined
It looks like you can't get cruise with a 5 speed in Canada anymore but you get auto climate control,ac and bluetooth. And roll up back windows wth over....
