Finally due for a brake job at 105k miles

Brakes finally started to make a little noise after a downhill grade over by Chattanooga, so it is finally time to replace them. Found it interesting they have made it so long. I remember in the early days of this forum, people complained constantly about premature brake wear, and I kept waiting for it to happen. Well it finally did

I will be sure to post up pics when I get the time to do the job.

Are you THAT easy on the brakes?

That's crazy, I'm currently at 25k with plenty of pad left. Of course I do mainly highway driving too. I guess my can of caliper paint will have to wait a few more years...

I guess you win the award for longest lasting brakes! I usually get about 35k out of the fronts, and the rears went about 80k.

Still catching up on the forum from a week of being gone. Did you ever get to doing the brake job? What did you replace, and what parts did you use?
