    I was able to tuck the cord in without taking the panel off, if you don't want to mess with it. It's probably better to take it off though so you can see where you're stuffing the cord.

    So how you managed to make the cable go all the way to the fuse box? Isnt the only way it can drop down is through this panel?

    Yes - I did route the cord through the panel. I was just able to do it by lifting up on the edge of the panel, and tucking the cord in, as opposed to taking the entire panel off.

    That works..
    I'm using the lighter plug power supply as well.
    I have to order a "wired in" power supply to hard wire mine.
    When I do I'm gonna try to tap in behind the dome light in headliner.
    Will weld for beer.

    Where did u guys connected the ground? I don't see any bare bolts near the fuse box.

    I actually installed a backup camera wired to my fuse box last week, there is two screw-bolt on the right side of the fuse box. I can take a picture if you need!
