I can see the price tag of a gas station through the window at work. It's $8.33/gallon now (€1.81/L)

Outrageous. I'd ride a bicycle or at least a scooter they get over 120mpg

We here in North America have it good when it comes to gasoline prices.

I am a disgusting man-child and watch tons of anime. One of the new ones this season is called "Super Cub" and is a slice-of-life about a girl who gets a... you guessed it... Honda Super Cub.

Actually pretty cool little scooters/motorcycles. Seems the USA 125cc version does get ~100MPG. The 50cc JDM version gets (claimed) ~200MPG but good luck getting one of those stateside.

Seems about a $4K entry fee for that one, and for most people it could only qualify as a summertime toy and not much else, so probably not worth it.

Random thoughts, I suppose, but meh. Was at the front of my mind for the past couple of days for whatever reason.

I found cheap gas yesterday, $1.23/Liter. Diesel was $1.19 the other day. They're practically giving it away right now!
Great timing too. My folks just bought a big ass Class a motorhome with an 8.1L(496) that might get 8mpg going down hill with a tail wind and I found a sweet covid priced 35' triple axle toy hauler that might even fit my Mirage(if a bumper or two is removed) inside? Spend it while you got it lol.

Atlanta is nuts with the gas hoarding and long lines to get fuel. This happened before in 2012. Folks got nasty with each other at the pumps real quick.

Glad I drive my Mirage, and buy very little gas, and only every 10 days. When I bought my Mirage in April 2014 gas was around $1.40 Canadian, which is the highest I've seen prices.

Edit: right now in Southern Ontario (old oil belt of North America / British Empire technically) and they still pump gas in the fields nearby, gas is around $1.25 L in the rural areas. I don't buy gas much, or get out much. That's these people's problems.
