    New to the Forum

Hey everyone. I’m new to the Mirage community. I just purchased a 2018 Mirage G4 ES. Super excited. Wry impressed with the features, options and price. The only complaint I have is the wheel and tire size. I would love to put 17x7.5. Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Glad to be here.

Welcome aboard! One member was running 17” rims with a 205/45r17 tire. Offset would have to be carefully chosen to accommodate a 7.5” width rim.

Lol...I replaced my original wheels/tires before my car had 1,000 miles on it...so I understand completely.

I would love to put 17x7.5.
You'll need to decide how much of a mpg hit you are willing to accept. Going from 14 x 4.5" wheels with Low Rolling Resistance (LRR) tires to 17 x 7.5" wheels without LRR tires is going to mean a noticeable reduction in fuel economy. You might be looking at a 4-6 mpg hit.

If you're willing to compromise, you can improve the car's stance with new wheels/tires without taking a significant hit to your fuel economy. Here is what I decided to do.
