Missing screw?

Hi,

Just noticed something strange under bonnet. Is it normal or this is a missing screw? Please see picture.

I just checked and I don't have a screw in there either.

Just checked mine (base model), and there's nothing there. Just an empty hole that has been tapped.

mine doesnt have anything in the screwhole.

i think for the older version they have that rubber screwed in there but for the 2015 and up i think there's none.

There was an engine mount design change around 2015
I think. That's probably when they stopped putting the rubber damper on there.
FYI.. my 2017 SLE (GT) doesnt have it either.

So what year did the hole disappear, & does anyone have a theory on what the hole was meant for in the first place?

My 2013 Space Star has a thing attached to that hole.



But it's purpose? Beats me. It looks like a rubber damper, but what should be dampened?
