Another positive Canadian review -- maybe the most positive Mirage review I've read, period.

This one hails the car as a potential game-changer for offering near-hybrid fuel economy at an entry-level price.

- fuel economy
- "lively... agile" city manners
- tight turning circle
- colour options -- "Typically a very conservative company, Mitsubishi marketers got a little giddy with colours"
- free-revving engine
- engine note "distinctive thrum that turns into a naughty snarl" under brisk acceleration
- unexpectedly comfortable & attactive interior for the price
- surprising list of standard equipment

Cons....

- limited cargo room with the rear seats upright
- body roll when the car is pushed hard in cornering

Overall...

The Mirage breaks new ground and could well change the fundamental way we look at economical family transportation.
