Thanks. This gasket is for early model of mirage according from the website 14-15. I am wondering what is the extra hole on the left by the exhaust port side and its importance.

I can't answer that. Not sure why it's important. Just get the correct gasket or use the original - DONE.

It looks like some sort of internal EGR valve maybe? I thought those went extinct years ago but for emissions reduction maybe they've implemented it into the head.

Valve timing overlap takes care of EGR.

They listed the header as 2013-2016. 2017+ exhaust has different flange and connection location. I don't think it will fit 2017+.

Buyer beware when buying overseas. I clearly noted to speedlab that I would need a header for 2017+ And informed them that I have a 2018 with MCC manifold catalytic converter design . I am aware that they also make previous gen mirage headers as well. I ensured that I get the gasket first and port their headers to match the exhaust manifold gasket. To my surprise, the gasket does not conform to the flange shape. @Freeyoursoul is correct, they used a previous generation flange and welded it into new piping. Their welds are not as good as Supercircuit from what I have seen from forum posts. The length of their headers seems to be alright and matches the manifold/cat. If I attach their header to my 2018 Mirage, it would cause an exhaust leak due to the smaller hole not conforming onto the flange and the gasket pressed would not seat flat on the flange. I contacted speedlab and they replied “Make the holes bigger with a drill” and use the factory gasket.the smaller hole, EGR port or whatever its called. They said that hole does not matter which is skeptical.

$350 gone but if anyone would want to buy this for their custom exhaust setup, or for 2013-2016 mirages, I am willing to sell. It has been ported and smootened the inside welds for smooth exhaust flow.

Yeah that's it! Then what is that little hole then?

Upon checking, It appears to be an EGR inlet hole for exhaust

That's interesting. Can you post your source for this? And is this design in use in the 3A92?
