Hi Steve, I followed your adventure of the cheap plastic car and enjoyed it. I left for a bit and your Mirage I guess was dead upon my return. Did it die of was it an accident?

Sorry about your Dad, I lost mine a decade ago, it still hurts. Neat story about the Delorean. I sold mine for $2500 back in the day and will regret it forever.

I’m still wondering the same thing to this day. I parked my car in a garage and when I came back it had the dent. I never got around to fixing it. This was about five years ago.

When you were parked, were you taking up 2 spaces? It looks like someone punched your car.

Got the windshield replaced a few days ago, changed the oil yesterday and sold the car today.

The new owner of Cheap Plastic Car just drove off in it. Seems like a great guy and I gave him a super deal. He basically got the car for what I paid to have the transmission, clutch, brakes and windshield done.

I could have gotten more in todays market, yes, but I opted for a quick sale instead and I can tell it went to the right buyer. Now hopefully Fider shows up on this forum to continue the records. I shared the link to this thread with him.

    Congrats on the sale.

Thanks for documenting your experience here in such detail ... and for pointing the FNG in this direction!
