Life has been pretty good. Of course I miss dad, but have great memories so its all good. The Delorean got totaled last fall when I got hit by a delivery truck. I walked from the accident but am still in pain from it. The good news is the other driver was at fault and I was able to replace the car with a single owner Delorean, perfect condition with just 5,000 original miles.

Hi Steve, I followed your adventure of the cheap plastic car and enjoyed it. I left for a bit and your Mirage I guess was dead upon my return. Did it die of was it an accident?

Sorry about your Dad, I lost mine a decade ago, it still hurts. Neat story about the Delorean. I sold mine for $2500 back in the day and will regret it forever.

307,435 miles Got the windshield replaced a few days ago, changed the oil yesterday and sold the car today.


The new owner of Cheap Plastic Car just drove off in it. Seems like a great guy and I gave him a super deal. He basically got the car for what I paid to have the transmission, clutch, brakes and windshield done.

I could have gotten more in todays market, yes, but I opted for a quick sale instead and I can tell it went to the right buyer. Now hopefully Fider shows up on this forum to continue the records. I shared the link to this thread with him.
