Nice to know what makes our machines tick. But also for the ability to do a full electric conversion if the engine and/or ECU fail...or there's no more gasoline. Whatever.
Does something like an electric servo-motor turn a shaft on the CVT different directions to run the ratio up and down? How does reverse work?
Any links explaining the Mirage CVT would be appreciated.
