I noticed that everytime the Mirage moves forward the brakes squeaks whether the engine is cold or the car has been used for a long time. It squeaks for a few times then its gone but after a long use it squeaks again.
What seems to be the problem? What needs to be replaced? I already went to the dealer and they didn't notice the squeak at all.
Does it squeak when applying the brakes, or just rolling forward? And does it happen at a certain temperature? I noticed my G4 squeaking a bit when I first start out in the morning when it's colder outside, below 50F/10C.
When its cold with a cold engine and it brakes it squeaks then after a few stops it disappears but it squeaks again for sometime when applying brakes. It happens on the first run when applying brakes and when it slows down especially when inside the parking lot or the car runs on a slow pace. From what I hear its on the right side that squeaks. The mirage is an automatic transmission.
