    2013 Mirage Aftermarket Wheels

    Hey there Team

The photo shows the aftermarket alloy wheels that we have just fitted to the Mirage.

The wheels are from www.dtm.co.nz and are called Diezel Junno. Is this a stupid name, or am I just not with it ? Whatever, we are very pleased with the aesthetics.

They are 14x6" with 100mm stud spacing and an offset of 38. They retail in NZ for $525 for the set of four.

Fitted with Green Max 185/60x14 tyres, everything seems to clear just fine. The offset is 8mm less than the standard steel rims which are 46mm, but this doesn't appear to have upset the steering or handling at all. Before buying these wheels I spoke to the company - they claim to supply many wheels to Mitsubishi NZ and that these wheels are approved for fitment to the Mirage, for whatever that statement is worth.

I didn't drive the car enough with the OEM Yokohama Blue Earth 165/65x14 tyres to make a meaningful comparison between them, but the new setup steers and handles well.

    Regards to all
    Flange

    Hi All From NZ

I just had these fitted http://www.magandturbo.com/wheels/4-...gw/bgw-recoil/

They are BGW Recoils at 14" x 6" all up including fitting NZ$495 (about US$390).
This allowed me to fit the existing OEM Yokohama Blue Earth 165/65x14 tyres so no change in L/100Km however as the tires are "stretched" does seem a little sharper in handling.

    Cheers
    Jid

Looks good. Did you ever get a chance to wieght the stock wheels? If I go with something aftermarket I'm probably gonna try and do something that wieghts a little less or the same as stock.

Stock's probably the lightest, it's an aluminium alloy already and 14" probably still being lighter than any larger rim. But still I'm an occasional aggressive driver and need a wider wheels and larger rims.
