    €6950 ($8000) for new 1.0 in Europe

Hi folks, I bought mine in 2014 for €8000. This was a simple 1.0L MT model, which has all I ever want and wanted. It included AC, a radio, and manually adjustable mirrors.

I looked up what a brand new latest-model economy version would cost me today.
There are loads and loads of offers, all with a 5-year garantee, starting under €7000, being about US $8000. The list of what's included today differs from my 2014 model, for example it has a rev-counter instrument but no radio.
Today's model also has Xenon lights in front and LED in the back, electric mirrors, etc.
I think most folks would be happy with this basic model just as it is.

    Here two random examples:

Wow! Is that a touch screen in the middle of the dash, or a 'blanking plate' (no radio)?

If Mitsubishi could even get these under $10,000 in the States I don't think they would be able to ship them here fast enough.

Its a "blanking plate" in the middle.
You could check their German website for the details of the basic and other models:

It's interesting to click around that site...even if you can't read the language. Here's an accessory that I don't see in the US...an organizer for the area underneath the floor of the hatch...

Interesting! I looked around for quite some time and didn't find any accessories.

Where on those pages did you find that?

Btw, there is a thread on this forum about how to easily make a similar organizer with some timber. I built one myself.

Mitsubishi is now making a 1 liter engine? I have to buy a new vehicle next year for tax reasons. I was going to purchase a Toyota Corolla but I'd seriously consider another Mirage if I could get a 1 liter engine.

The 1.0 hasn’t been available in the North American market. Mitsubishi makes 3 variants of their 3 cylinder motor. 3A90 (1.0), 3A91 (1.1), and the most common 3A92 (1.2). The only difference between them is the stroke.
