    Total loss due to flood

Well, last week, my white 2014 de 5mt was totaled due to a flood. I had 97k on it and then the unfortunate happened. Luckily it was paid off and the insurance did give me 5k for it. I ordered a wine red one this time with the 5 speed. I am wondering if there is a difference between the 2014 and the 2018. The flood was my welcome home present from Afghanistan.

    Aw man, that stinks.

There isn't a big difference, but the suspension is a bit nicer on the newer ones.

All the 15's and 17's I see at work seem to get pretty much the same mileage, some 17's are better than 15's. depends on the driver and where they go.

I haven't seen 18's on the mirage yet, even the G4. It'd be nice to see how the wheels fit on the wheel wells.

Referring to model year, not rim sizes .

Bummer about your car. They're dropping like flies lately!

2018's also have better NVH, and Mitsu's electric power steering "hack" to improve the self-centering of the steering:

I ordered my wine red 5mt. It will get delivered the 28th. Until then I'm driving my 83 cj7 as my DD just like old times years ago. Poor jeep. Name: IMG_20180807_170122.jpg
