You would have to contact the guys at Godspeed to see if parts are available. But generally coilovers are rebuildable. https://godspeedproject.com/suspensi...cessories.html

Its hard to say how long the coilover will last since I was the first one to have them on this forum. I'm assuming regular driving conditions and stiffness should last close to 100,000 miles. Stock suspension should last 100,000 miles. Now those WRX kids stiffen up their suspension all the way and then wonder why their suspension is dead after 10,000 miles. So it depends on a bunch of factors. I'm pretty sure the touring car guys will have to replace them sooner than every day drivers.

edit: You might have to replace the rubber bushing first if anything.

They'll go pretty low. I don't have numbers. I have my rear spring adjusters down as low as they will go. The front could go lower, but when I went too low in the front, I had problems with the tires rubbing things.

All I can say is try lowering it 1/4" at a time and verify that you don't have any clearance problems as you go.

On the front, you'll want to be shortening the strut bodies to lower the car. Just lowering the spring perch will compromise your suspension travel.

On the rear, you have to adjust the spring perch to lower the height, but you still need to adjust the shock length to match. You need the rear shocks to be short enough that they will not allow the axle to droop far enough to allow the spring to fall out of its perch.

    Have fun!
    Simplify and add lightness.

I am thinking of getting these. Can you keep the stock height? Or close to it? I like to YOLO over speed humps...

Any thoughts on Monroe part# 5544 as a rear shock replacement? Extended length is 1.5" shorter and compressed length is .5" shorter than '18 Mirage stock length.

Why wouldn't you just take out the spring?

Good point. That would really lower it.

Everyone everywhere I have read about these was wrong.

    1. I got them and they are SUPER ROUGH. WAY too rough for daily driving (compared to the soft cushy springs).

    2. It IS possible to get MORE ride height than stock out of them at max settings. I actually got a half inch back out of the rear and a full inch higher on the front.

I called GodSpeed to see if they have replacement springs (less harsh), they do not. They also don't have the shocks on hand to give me exact measurements of the springs. So I will either need to take them off (not looking forward to that (it wasn't hard, just dirty and time consuming)) to get the sizes, or if anyone has them yet to put on, or is about to, please let me know what the exact dimensions are.

Measurements needed to get another made, mm with a caliper would be the best
    I.D. = Inner Diameter
    Front Top I.D.: 62mm
    Bottom I.D.: 62mm
    Height: 200mm
    Thickness of spring rod:

    Rear Top I.D.:
    Bottom I.D.:
    Height:
Max Spring I.D. (it is shaped like a pear):
    Thickness of spring rod:

If no one has a set laying around I will end up doing this sometime.

I think the spring tension could be reduced 10-20%

On the front there is plenty of room for more spring, on the rear as well (with my stock height settings).

Their site lists some of this info... I don't think the rear is correct though. That should be way easier to get the info for though.
