I am a noob regarding coilovers. Are these things Loren said are adjustable all a part of the coilovers, or are some of them custom parts. I see that he had custom spring perches made...

If you are talking about the GodSpeed kit, it comes with the perch. I do not think he had anything custom. The kit is a drop in replacement. It is VERY rough though, if you aren't used to sport/racing suspension. IMHO

I have passengers sometimes, so I don't want to scare/hurt them. BC's are twice the price, but have a lot of people convinced they are the way to go. The only custom suspension I have experience with is Eibach springs and Daox/UltraRacing swaybar on my current car. (See post #42 for his custom perch comment.)

If you are doing a lot of crazy turns or rough road, yeah, it would suck for a passenger.

Look, don't get me wrong. These are great. Drop in replacements that can lower your car. Make it ride like a little go cart.... GREAT! BUTTT.... For daily driving, or long distance... They are like driving a go cart all the time. So... That was just not what I was ready for. I just wanted something a little stiffer.

I have since went to the red bladder airbags in the rear springs to give me a little more stiffness. Only 100 bucks, straight forward install... Highly recommend for people just looking to stiffen up the mushy rear.

BCs are another brand of coilover. They have more adjustability than Godspeeds.

Got a link? I'd like to check them out. Are they drop in like the GodSpeed?
