    I'd have to agree with the others. I wouldn't kill the rpm limit for the sake of fuel economy. I use my right foot and shifter for that. I still want the most power available IF I want to be able to use it (which is rare, but I don't want to give it up if I don't need to).

    Totally agree, in cases that you need the extra power like when evading a danger which can safe your life, you will be happy that you don't limit your rpm just for the sake of fuel economy while you have full control on your foot on the fuel economy.

    Theres a lot of factors in play and limiting the rev limit wouldn't save fuel anyways. Liked mentioned earlier, its how you use the rpms that effects your fuel savings.

    mmm i dont know for real long term life yet how the 1.2 performs and if i have to get pas 3500 rpm
    but currently i never go past 2400

    I sometimes hit the 6400 rpm mostly on second and third gear. Love hiw the motor sounds
