Thank you for welcoming me. I look forward to learning stuff about my car on this site.

I used to drive a Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost AT. Now I shifted to a manual tranny.

Hello eggnog24 and welcome to the forum.

Why did you switch from the Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost to the Mirage? I took a Fiesta for a test drive and felt the interior was not large enough for me.

    Welcome to the forum!

Ford has cancelled the 1.0T Fiesta in North America, and I don't think they ever offered it with the automatic, just manual.

How are you liking the manual trans?

    Hello Eggman,

Same reason why I switch. the HB Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost is too small for my growing family. I don't have enough money yet to buy an SUV but the Mirage will do.

I think my Mirage will be much better when it comes to fuel efficiency because my old Fiesta is an AT.

Here in the Philippines, they offered the Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost AT.

I'm still trying to get a hang of driving a manual tranny. I know it's more challenging but I'm looking forward to it.

    An update on my G4:

    - I'm now getting used to the Manual Tranny of my G4. And it's fun to drive!

    I've installed the following yesterday:
    - rubber chin in the front bumper
    - additional rubber stopper at the rear shocks (my G4 is most of the time "loaded" at the back)

I'm looking forward to changing the ff:
    - horn
    - headlights and foglights

Glad you're enjoying it! I love driving stick, and even in stop & go city traffic, a manual Mirage is one of the easiest to drive.

You mean you're hitting the stock bump stop and you're adding another one? Or you're adding spacers in the springs?
