I test drove a next-gen '18 Rio sedan this year when I was helping a friend look for a new car. My impression was that overall refinement and interior materials were head & shoulders above other economy cars we looked at. (Unfortunately Mirage wasn't considered since the nearest dealer is 100 km away.)
Pretty impressive considering it's Hyundai/Kia's entry level offering.
She ended up getting a left-over '17 Accent hatchback automatic, despite wanting a manual. I don't think they had any manuals on the lot.
